"We are a software company..."

seems to be the current default strategic positioning statement of senior leadership across industries – often reaffirmed and underscored by inspiring innovation safaris to Silicon Valley.

“Software is eating the world” has thus become the dominant narrative about innovation in our time – coupled with massive investments in this space.

We believe this money and supreme effort is better spent solving some real human innovation problems and this is where our name comes from – from “left field” meaning a surprising or unconventional position or style.

Our approach is grounded in human-centered design and we invite leaders that want to “rehumanise” their organisations to join us on a different type of innovation journey that starts with Listening into Learning to Launching.

Technology is the answer, but what was the question?
